What Is A Five Star Short Sale Certification?
CDRS

The Five Star Short Sale Certification is verification that a REALTOR® has been rewarded with the unique distinction of being a certified member of a powerful national network of licensed real estate professionals outfitted with the most advanced, substantive, essentials of pre-foreclosure training and support system in today's challenging real estate market. Having completed extensive training in negotiating and closing Short Sales, real estate agents with the Five Star Short Sale Certification are equipped with the necessary knowledge, tools and resources required to successfully facilitate pre-foreclosure solutions, from a Listing or Buyer's Agent perspective.

As a Five Star Short Sale Certification REALTOR®, I am committed to helping people who are facing foreclosure by finding the right solution for their individual needs and seeing the issue resolved.

Previously, short sales were a rarely accepted alternative by lenders, but in today's world they are increasingly becoming a viable option. Although more common in recent years, lender's still want the right deal with the right paperwork, and most real estate agents without the Five Star Short Sale Certification do not know the specifics. The Five Star Short Sale Certification has taught me to understand when a short sale is the best option, recognize the steps in the process, develop a short sale package, negotiate with you lenders, and most of all, how to limit your risk.
